What should my do if my child is nervous before an appointment?
Help your child understand what will happen during their appointment and that the dentist is there to help them. Some additional ideas including helping your child imagine a trip to the dentist by playing pretend, reassuring your child that you will be there during their visit, or allowing them to bring a favorite toy along for comfort. If you are nervous about visiting the dentist, try not to talk about it in front of your child.
What will my child’s first visit be like?
Your child’s visit will be much like your own visits to the dentist, although we will take extra time to make sure your child is comfortable and understands what the dentist is doing. You and your child will have opportunities to get to know the dentist and to ask any questions that may arise during treatment. After the appointment, our staff will help you understand what is needed for continued care.
How much does a visit cost?
